"In the summer, the scene would move en masse to Ostend, Belgium's equivalent to Blackpool. DJ Freddy Cousaert played at the Groove, a late night downstairs bar frequented by US marines, lovers of blues and soul music
and tourists, it was Cousaert who later looked after Marvin Gaye during his 80s sejourn in Ostend. The music he played at the Groove included ska, Latin jazz and even Broadway songs such as Stranger in Paradise, or Whatever Lola Wants from Damn Yankees...."

  1. Thank you always I appreciate.
    Re-Up please.....  ( link error??)

  2. Thank you for this, I very much enjoy d/l R&B/Soul albums from your interesting blog. But sad to see today only a d/l link in Uploaded, which is about the worst there is IMO, painfully slow and frequently drops out altogether. Is it possible to also post links in Zippy or MediaFire, both of which are very fast. Even Yandex is good. Thanks again.

  3. hi bob
    I am now on uploaded because with zippy I spend my time reupload and mediafire I am blocked by the rights ...
    I have been looking for a stable server that can be accessed by anyone including the United States (uptobox does not work in the states)
    if uploaded is a little slow for you you should try to create a (free) account at home or can go through a vpn .;
    give me your return by mail the address is on the blog
    because everyone can read the comments ....
