"In the summer, the scene would move en masse to Ostend, Belgium's equivalent to Blackpool. DJ Freddy Cousaert played at the Groove, a late night downstairs bar frequented by US marines, tourists and prostitutes – it was Cousaert who later looked after Marvin Gaye during his 80s sejourn in Ostend. COMMUNICATION

hello  friends,
I am going to become scarce a little more
on the blog, because I have now
a very hard fight has to lead, you know
the disease with the big C,
but well I have a very good hope to
overcome her  and the oncologist also.
I would not miss to hold you informed.
In any case, thank you for your support and

  3. Hi, being a long time visitor to your fantastic blog, I'm afraid I've never managed to write any comment. But this time, I want to write you for 2 reasons: 1) for giving a big THANK YOU for all your efforts in this blog, making available many great albums from the past, and 2) for wishing you the best in your fight. Be strong and you'll win. The best news that we'll be able to read here is that you'll be back and safe, someday soon. So my best wishes are with you.

  6. Keep punching , Michel. I often have thought about you as I look in from time to time and dig the sounds you have shared with us over the years. It has been a ball, pal .we have someone close who is also facing this problem , not a minor thing , kind of scary. She isn't herself but , well, she also has to keep on puchin'. I hope you will stop back when you can but I know that nobody knows what's ahead . Hey , there's no security in this gig and there never has been but we have been able to share a few laughs with you , a few tastes of music we all love . All the best to you and yours , Always .
